Summer Market at YADAWEI

Launching my Happenings blog with a post celebrating yesterday’s Summer Market at Yadawei Studio, Dubai. For those of us who had not yet left the city in escape of the 44+ weather, the studio organized a small summer market to display and sell member’s work.

I had a small of my most recent pieces- some Venus Vases on display, alongside some planters complete with plants!

I connected with Yadawei Studio not long after moving to Dubai, and have been renting studio space since. It is a lovely social atmosphere, and an open plan space filled with makers ranging from professional artists and designers, to total clay newbies. In addition to studio memberships, Yadawei offers a range of classes for handbuilding, wheelthrowing, and sculpture for adults, children’s and teens, and have a small shop selling a range of claybodies and glazes.
